About the Writer
Jayne Robinson BA (Hons), Dip CW (Inst.CW)
Jayne has a degree in Communications and Media Studies and is a fully approved copywriter, qualified with the Institute of Copywriting. She is based near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
With over 16 years marketing experience, Jayne has worked for several global corporations in campaign management and communications roles. She has also worked in the IT field for various smaller organisations, and for charities in event management, exhibition planning and fundraising roles. More recently, Jayne worked for Orange as a Campaign Manager and T-Mobile as a Communications Manager, where she managed joint product launches and retail marketing activities with all the major phone manufacturers.
At Orange, Jayne worked for three years within the business-to-business marketing team, managing marketing communications to both existing and prospective customers. One of her responsibilities was to brief in, approve and often write the copy that went into brochures, press advertisements, direct mail and onto the web. She managed the end-to-end process, from briefing agencies to print production and mailing, whilst liaising with many different departments within Orange.
Therefore, as a copywriter, Jayne can add enormous value to your marketing activities, as she has a thorough understanding of the whole campaign management process. She is used to dealing with agencies and working under pressure within impossibly tight deadlines.
